Avocado toast seems like such an upscale brunch item. However, if you are just smearing plain avocado on a piece of toast, you are missing out on opportunities to make it extra delicious!
A few staples you will need for all recipes:
Avocado
Whole grain bread
Your choice of butter, coconut oil, etc.
1. for my spicy people
2 slices of whole grain bread
spread coconut oil/butter on first
1/2 avocado
sprinkle red pepper flakes, cayenne pepper, a squeeze of lemon, and pink Himalayan sea salt
2. for me lovers of #cinnamon *do NOT judge this one until you try it out...trust me.
2 slices of whole grain bread
spread coconut oil/butter on first
1/2 avocado
sprinkle with pink Himalayan sea salt, cinnamon, and top with a sliced hard boiled egg
3. for my caprese lovers
2 slices of whole grain bread
spread coconut oil/butter on first
1/2 avocado
top with sliced cherry tomatoes, fresh #mozzarella, and fresh basil, sprinkle with sea salt
4. smoked salmon avo toast
2 slices of whole grain bread
spread coconut oil/butter on first
1/2 avocado
top with smoked salmon, trader joes everything but the bagel seasoning, pink Himalayan sea salt, and arugula
5. sunny side up avo toast
2 slices of whole grain bread
spread coconut oil/butter on first
1/2 avocado
top the avocado with pink Himalayan sea salt, pepper, sprouts, and a fried egg on top, then sprinkle some paprika on top.
#Avocados have great healthy fats (#omega3's) that is linked with lowering blood pressure, slow the development of plaque in arteries, improve eye health, reduce the risk of heart attacks and strokes, can improve mental disorders, reduce the symptoms of #ADHD in children, and many more benefits.
Avocados also are a great source of #vitamins C, E, K, and B6
